The Stetsons
40-40-40 Club
{{#switch:|accept={{afc a}}|mm={{afc mm}}|#default={{afc r}}}}
On September 23, 2006, during a game against the New York Mets, Alfonso Soriano hit his 40th double of the season, making him the first player in major league history to ever record 40 homeruns, 40 stolen bases, and 40 doubles in a single season. This feat marks the creation of the 40-40-40 club, a feat thought previously unfeasible by many. The 40-40 club, which celebrates the achievement of 40 homeruns and 40 stolen bases, which has only been achieved by three players over the entire span of baseball. Soriano joined the club on September 16, 2006, joining Jose Conseco, Barry Bonds, and former teammate Alex Rodriguez.

20px Declined. This article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it at 40-40 club This is a bit of a neologism. A club with one member is not a club. Graeme Bartlett 13:41, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
