"hydraulic sandwich" is a term my (scott) father (mark) uses for beer of any kind. he uses this term because beer generally containts carbs and possibly other chemicals that your body requires to function on some level.

Personally, i (scott) believe that this term was probably coined somewhere in the 1970s when my father was part of a fraternaty, and is suspected to have been involved on excessive consumption of hydraulic sandwich(s), and or other chemicals of a suspicious nature.

References:

Mark. (sleeping)

Scott. (quite possibly under the influence of hydraulic sandwich(s) and/or various other narcotics, depressants, uppers, downers, screamers, stimulants, etc. at time of wikipedia entry.)

Europe Threatens New Microsoft Fines

By RAF CASERT

The Associated Press

Thursday, March 1, 2007; 3:56 PM

Excerpted from the Washinton Post

Ronald Cass, chairman of the Washington-based Center for the Rule of Law, said the EU "has taken another step toward turning successful businesses into regulated utilities." . "The Commission's new effort, if pursued, will undermine innovation and take Europe further away from the sort of predictable, stable, sensible legal rules that define the rule of law," Cass said.

The EU insisted it did not want to douse innovation.

"The Commission does not want Microsoft to have to give away the fruits of its research for free," said Todd. "Microsoft is perfectly entitled to a fair share of the results of its innovation. However, the Commission decision does not allow Microsoft to charge for interoperability information based on its own dominant position in the PC software market."

= FM Radio Career =

De Santis started working at KXXR-FM/93.7 (93X) when he was 15 years old. There he interned with the stations morning show, as well as overnight DJ Dead Eric, before getting his own time slot on the weekends. TJ is now the overnight disc jockey Monday thru Friday from 12:00am-5:30am. He can also be heard Saturdays and Sundays at various times.

= Mixed Martial Arts Radio =

In 2004 De Santis made the leap to mixed martial arts radio creating a show called "MMA Evolution." The Show was only available on the internet through fighting website InsideFighting.com. De Santis was the host of a three man crew including Mike Riley and Caleb Quinn. "MMA Evolution" was featured once a week on InsideFighting until November 2005.

After departing InsideFighting.com De Santis found himself working for Sherdog. In December of 2005 Sherdog.com released the first episode of "Beatdown with TJ De Santis." This show features TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross. "Beatdown" runs twice a week on Sherdog.com usually lasting 60 minutes. De Santis also has a part in Sherdog's "Savage Dog Show." This show is hosted by columnist Greg Savage and site co-owner Jeff Sherwood. De Santis is the producer and occasionally talks with Savage and Sherwood on-air.

DeShaun Thomas, a highly touted ameteur basketball player attending Fort Wayne, Indiana's Bishop Luers High School has been recognized by NBA scouts as the next Lebron James. What Thomas eventually becomes, only time will tell, but he's been a star as a 14-year-old freshman at Fort Wayne Bishop Luers. The 6-7, 210-pound shooting guard is averaging 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Most basketball experts agree that Thomas would have gone directly to the NBA out of high school prior to the new draft rules.

Van Coleman is one of the scouts who has Thomas ranked No. 1 nationally in his class.

Bloody Dead And Sexy is a Death Rock Band from Germany.

= History =

The band was founded in 1997 by Rosa Iahn, Tim Schande, Björn Henningson and Wolfgang Reetz. In the year 2000 founding member Wolfgang Reetz died in a motorcycle accident and was replaced by guitarplayer d'hAmm. After some years of touring in Europe and contributing songs to compilations (most well known the song "Bloody Rose"), Bloody Dead And Sexy signed to the well-known german goth-label Alice In... and released two albums ("Paint It Red" and "Narcotic Room"). In 2004 Bloody Dead And Sexy crossed the big ocean and toured the USA. Their popularity among the followers of the deathrock-scene worldwide became clear, when they were asked to headline the Wave Gotik Treffen, the worlds biggest goth-festival in Leipzig, two years in a row (2005 & 2006). After some exchanges of the guitar player in the following years, Matias 13 joined the band in 2006.
