BP split
May I assume that you are still working on the Bletchley Park Museum page? πππ½ (talk) 23:15, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
:Yes I am @JMF, life just intervened yesterday. If you think that there are more things that need to be done around it then please let me know. I think that there needs to be a page dedicated to the wartime work and page/pages dedicated to the work before and after. I thought the information on the old page was great but perhaps there was a lack of focus. Very much open to other ideas. JASpencer (talk) 04:08, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
::I agree with the split, it makes sense. Maybe a hatnote you should put a temporary hatnote on the museum article to say it is in the course of being rewritten, as otherwise it will confuse readers? πππ½ (talk) 07:57, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
:::What's a hatnote? JASpencer (talk) 11:14, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
::::Just a brief Introductory note to pre-empt obvious questions, which is put at the top of the page.
::::* Use {{tl|hatnote}} for a freeform message. I think this is what you want now.
::::There are also "ready to wear" hatnote templates like {{tl|about}} (like I added yesterday at the top of the BP main article) or {{tl|for}}. There must be list somewhere but further education can wait until you have finished.
::::You may need to apply an {{tl|in use}} if you start to get edit conflicts with other editors who haven't spotted what you are doing. πππ½ (talk) 12:51, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::Hi - Thanks for your work on this. I would suggest that the article entitled Government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS) is moved to Government Code and Cypher School as we do not normally include the abbreviation as part of the title. This can be arranged if you are happy with the concept. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 15:07, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::Thank you [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requested_moves/Technical_requests&diff=prev&oldid=1289743487 requested]. JASpencer (talk) 15:17, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
[[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|Proposed deletion]] of [[:Rockford Institute]]
The article :Rockford Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article lacks reliable, secondary sources that establish the notability of the subject per Wikipediaβs general notability guideline. The few references cited are either primary, tangential mentions, or do not provide significant independent coverage. Without substantial coverage in independent, reputable sources, the subject does not meet notability criteria for organizations.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:30, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

Please do not copy drafts into articles
Please do not duplicate a Draft into an article by copying the content of the draft and pasting into an article, as you did in this edt, opying and pasting it from Draft:Maurice network. Among other things, this can cause wasted duplication of effort, as occurred in this case, where the two pages continued to be updated independently as forks of each other. In addition, a history merge will be required now, to add the earlier Draft history to the younger mainspace article, which requires admin resources to accomplish. And finally, the separate content developed in the Draft will have to be merged to the mainspace article. Going forward, please either submit the Draft to Afc, or, if eligible, move the Draft to mainspace, but do not do a copy-paste move. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 09:34, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
