The series, which depicts a crocodile's last 100 days before his death, was self-published on Twitter between December 2019, and March 2020. A single tankōbon volume was published by Shougakukan in April 2020. An anime film adaptation produced by TIA, titled {{nihongo|100 Nichikan Ikita Wani|100日間生きたワニ||"A Crocodile Who Lived For 100 Days"}}, was scheduled to be released in May 2021, but was delayed to July 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
