The 1895 County Championship was the sixth officially organised running of the County Championship, and ran from 6 May to 2 September 1895. Surrey claimed their fifth title, which was decided by the percentage of completed matches by each side.{{cite web|url-access=subscription |url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Events/Tables/County_Championship_1895.html |title=County Championship 1895 Table |publisher=CricketArchive |access-date=30 May 2009 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110522041402/http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Events/Tables/County_Championship_1895.html |archive-date=22 May 2011 |url-status=live }}
