The 1985 Augustana (Illinois) Vikings football team was an American football team that represented Augustana College as a member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) during the 1985 NCAA Division III football season. In their seventh season under head coach Bob Reade, the Vikings compiled a perfect 13–0 record and won the CCIW championship. The team then advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs where they defeated {{cfb link|year=1985|team=Mount Union Purple Raiders|title=Mount Union}} in the quarterfinal, {{cfb link|year=1985|team=Central Dutch|title=Central (IA)}} in the semifinal, and {{cfb link|year=1985|team=Ithaca Bombers|title=Ithaca}} in the national championship game.{{cite web|title=1985 Football National Championship|publisher=Augustana College|accessdate=October 21, 2021|url=https://athletics.augustana.edu/sports/2013/7/5/FB_0705133310.aspx?id=465}} It was the third of four consecutive national championships.
