{{1993 Southeastern Conference football standings}}

The 1993 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 1993 NCAA Division I-A football season. Under first-year head coach Terry Bowden, the team went undefeated with a record of 11–0 and finished #4 in the AP Poll. Due to NCAA probation, Auburn was banned from TV and post-season play, and suffered reduced scholarships. The post-season ban prevented Auburn from playing the SEC Championship and a bowl game. Nonetheless, Auburn was the only major college football team to finish the season undefeated. The National Championship Foundation recognized Auburn as one of its four co-national champions;{{cite book | url=http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/football_records/2018/FBS.pdf | title=2018 NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Records | publisher=National Collegiate Athletic Association | date=August 2018 | access-date=January 4, 2019 | pages=114}} however, Auburn University only formally recognizes championships for the 1957 and 2010 seasons,{{Cite web |url=http://www.auburntigers.com/trads/02_auburn_national_championships.html |title=Archived copy |access-date=2014-05-20 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20161117092747/http://www.auburntigers.com/trads/02_auburn_national_championships.html |archive-date=2016-11-17 |url-status=dead }}{{Cite web |url=http://www.theplainsman.com/view/full_story/25126913/article-Auburn-recognizes--but-does-not-claim--three-more-national-championships?instance=home_news_lead_story |title=The Auburn Plainsman - Auburn recognizes but does not claim three more national championships |access-date=2014-05-20 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140521032043/http://www.theplainsman.com/view/full_story/25126913/article-Auburn-recognizes--but-does-not-claim--three-more-national-championships?instance=home_news_lead_story |archive-date=2014-05-21 |url-status=dead }} although the official website for Auburn athletics does highlight the 1993 team.{{Cite web |url=http://www.auburntigers.com/sports/m-footbl/aub-m-footbl-body.html |title=Auburn Football - Auburn University Official Athletic Site |access-date=2014-05-20 |archive-date=2013-01-04 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130104205504/http://www.auburntigers.com/sports/m-footbl/aub-m-footbl-body.html |url-status=dead }}
