The 2000–01 Ranji Trophy was the 67th season of the Ranji Trophy.{{cite web|title=Changes suggested in Ranji, Duleep format|url=http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/story/106027.html|publisher=ESPNcricinfo|date=9 May 2001|access-date=11 October 2018}} Baroda won their first title in 44 years beating Railways by 21 runs in the final.
