The trade week was headlined by the desire of West Coast premiership captain Chris Judd to return to Victoria, after six years with the club having been drafted to the Eagles in 2001.{{cite news|url= http://newsstore.fairfax.com.au/apps/viewDocument.ac?page=1&sy=nstore&kw=judd&pb=all_ffx&dt=enterRange&dr=1month&sd=01%2F09%2F2007&ed=25%2F09%2F2007&so=relevance&sf=text&sf=headline&rc=100&rm=200&sp=adv&clsPage=1&docID=AGE070918MQ6E16M606E |title= He went, he saw, he conquered.
