The 2010–11 Scottish Junior Cup was the 125th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The competition is sponsored by Emirates and is known as The Emirates Junior Cup for sponsorship purposes.{{cite web |url=http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/other-sports-news/emirates-airlines-announce-deal-to-sponsor-scottish-junior-cup-at-first-round-draw-1.825663 |title=Emirates Airlines announce deal to sponsor Scottish Junior Cup at first round draw |publisher=The Herald |date=1 September 2009 |accessdate=12 August 2011 }} Auchinleck Talbot won the competition for a record ninth time, defeating Musselburgh Athletic 2–1 after extra-time.{{cite web |url=http://sport.scotsman.com/top-stories/Auchinleck-Talbot-2--1.6776601.jp?articlepage=1 |title=Auchinleck Talbot 2 - 1 Musselburgh Athletic |author=Vallance, Matt |publisher=The Scotsman |date=30 May 2011 |accessdate=8 September 2011 }}

Under a 2007 rule change, the Junior Cup winners (along with winners of the North, East and West regional leagues) qualify for the senior Scottish Cup; Auchinleck Talbot therefore competed in the 2011–12 Scottish Cup.

All 162 member clubs of the SJFA entered this season's tournament, a rise from 159 in season 2009–10. Newmachar United entered in their debut Junior season, Stonehouse Violet returned after one year in abeyance and RAF Lossiemouth were re-admitted after one season's suspension owing to an unfulfilled fixture in the 2008–09 competition.{{cite news | first1=Keith | last1=McLeod | first2= John | last2=Ferguson | title=RAF team training for war are kicked out by Scottish Juniors chiefs | url=http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2008/09/27/exclusive-raf-team-training-for-war-are-kicked-out-of-cup-by-scottish-juniors-chiefs-86908-20755594/ | location = Glasgow | newspaper=Daily Record | date=27 September 2008 }}

The final of the competition was broadcast live on BBC ALBA.{{cite web |url=http://www.cumnockchronicle.com/sport/football/articles/2011/05/26/413744-junior-cup-final-live-on-bbc-alba/ |title=Junior Cup final live on BBC ALBA |publisher=Cumnock Chronicle |date=26 May 2011 |accessdate=28 May 2011 }}
