Ticket prices

In January 2011, the GAA announced a reduction in ticket prices for the 2011 National Hurling League.{{cite web|url=http://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/2011/0118/allianzleagues.html |title=GAA reduce ticket prices for leagues |date=18 January 2011 |work=RTÉ Sport |access-date=18 January 2011 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110122045713/http://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/2011/0118/allianzleagues.html |archive-date=22 January 2011 }}

The decision to cut prices was announced at a Central Council meeting and will see the cost of admission to a league game in the first division of the NHL dropping from 15 to €13, with a €5 admission to lower-level hurling games.{{cite web|url=http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic–football/gaa–cut–prices–of–league–tickets–2499962.html|title=GAA cut prices of league tickets|date=18 January 2011|work=Irish Independent|access-date=18 January 2011}}
