Conduct

The preliminary report from invited Organisation of American States election observers was positive regarding the "civil and peaceful" election and its high turnout.{{cite web | url=http://www.grenadabroadcast.com/news/all-news/15242-general-elections-in-grenada | title=Preliminary statement of the OAS electoral observation mission | publisher=Grenada Broadcast | date=February 20, 2013 | accessdate=February 25, 2013 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304223555/http://www.grenadabroadcast.com/news/all-news/15242-general-elections-in-grenada | archive-date=March 4, 2016 | url-status=dead }} The observers noted minor bureaucratic problems, and recommended greater enactment of campaign finance regulations. The observers also noted that women were under-represented in the list of candidates (9 of 48) and elected representatives (4 of 15).
