He was replaced by Myles Harris.

In December 2015 the Adelaide Adrenaline announced that head coach Ryan O'Handley had stepped down from the position of head coach due to family commitments.{{cite web|url=http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=92076 |title=O'Handley resigns; Search for new head coach begins |publisher=Adelaide Adrenaline |date=30 November 2015 |access-date=27 March 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160408015746/http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=92076 |archive-date=8 April 2016 |url-status=live }} O'Handley however moved into the positions of Vice President and Director of Hockey Operations at the club. A couple of weeks later the Adrenaline signed former AIHL and Australian national team player Trevor Walsh as O'Handley's replacement.{{cite web|url=http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=92544 |title=Trevor Walsh hired as new head coach |publisher=Adelaide Adrenaline |date=15 December 2015 |access-date=27 March 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160408010637/http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=92544 |archive-date=8 April 2016 |url-status=live }} Following the appointment of Walsh as head coach the Adrenaline also announced that Gordon Cochrane and Sami Mantere had been signed as assistant coaches for 2016.{{cite web|url=http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=93667 |title=Adelaide Adrenaline Announce Assistant Coaches for 2016 Season |publisher=Adelaide Adrenaline |first=Myles |last=Wallace |date=18 February 2016 |access-date=27 March 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160408022121/http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=93667 |archive-date=8 April 2016 |url-status=live }} In March 2016 the Sydney Ice Dogs announced that they had signed former Sydney Bears head coach Vladimir Rubes to the position of head coach.{{cite web|url=http://icehockeynewsaustralia.com/2016/03/09/aihl-news-9-march-2016/ |title=AIHL news: 9 March 2016 |publisher=Ice Hockey News Australia |date=9 March 2016 |access-date=27 March 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160317010048/http://icehockeynewsaustralia.com/2016/03/09/aihl-news-9-march-2016/ |archive-date=17 March 2016 |url-status=live }} Rubes stepped down from his position of head coach of the Sydney Bears in October 2015 citing family commitments. Also in March the CBR Brave re-signed head coach Josh Unice along with assistant coaches David Rogina and Stuart Philps for the 2016 season.

In June 2016 the Adrenaline relieved Trevor Walsh of his duties as head coach.{{cite web | url=http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=95631 | title=Adrenaline announce coaching change |first=Myles |last=Wallace | publisher=Adelaide Adrenaline | date=15 June 2016 | access-date=11 July 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160711082027/http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=95631 |archive-date=11 July 2016 |url-status=live}} He was replaced by former Australian national team assistant coach Eric Lien.{{cite web | url=http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=95767 | title=Adrenaline announce new head coach |first=Myles |last=Wallace | publisher=Adelaide Adrenaline | date=26 June 2016 | access-date=11 July 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160711082205/http://adrenaline.theaihl.com/leagues/newsletterarchive.cfm?clientID=6063&leagueID=25106&page=95767 |archive-date=11 July 2016 |url-status=live}} On 17 August, three days before the final round of the regular season, the Brave announced that Josh Unice had resigned from his position of head coach due to a number of personal issues outside of hockey.{{cite web|url=https://icehockeynewsaustralia.com/2016/08/17/unice-resigns-as-brave-head-coach/ |title=Unice resigns as Brave head coach |publisher=Ice Hockey News Australia |date=17 August 2016 |access-date=17 September 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160918193610/https://icehockeynewsaustralia.com/2016/08/17/unice-resigns-as-brave-head-coach/ |archive-date=18 September 2016 |url-status=live }} He was replaced by the club's assistant coaches for the remainder of the season.
