The Brisbane Lions' 2017 season was the club's 21st season in the Australian Football League (AFL) and 1st in AFL Women's (AFLW).

AFL Women's

The Brisbane Lions were granted a license on 15 June 2016, becoming one of eight teams to compete in the league's first season.
