The 2019 AFF U-22 Youth Championship or AFF U-22 LG Cup 2019 was the 2nd edition of the AFF U-22 Youth Championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). Indonesia won the tournament after defeating Thailand 2–1 in the final.{{cite web|url=http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-02/26/c_137852625.htm|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190227120813/http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-02/26/c_137852625.htm|url-status=dead|archive-date=27 February 2019|title=Indonesia beat Thailand 2-1 to win AFF U-22 Championship|author=Yan|publisher=Xinhua News Agency|date=26 February 2019|access-date=27 February 2019}} The tournament was held from 17 to 26 February in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This was its first as an under-22 tournament, with the previous edition being an under-23 tournament. 2005 AFF U-23 Youth Championship winners Thailand were the defending champions, as there was no competition from 2006 to 2018 and the 2011 edition was cancelled.
Qualified teams
There was no qualification. All entrants advanced to the final tournament. The following teams from member associations of the AFF entered the tournament (excluding Australia). Singapore withdrew from the tournament in order to focus on the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification tournament in March.{{cite web|url=http://www.fas.org.sg/participation-in-2019-aff-under-22-championship/|title=Participation in 2019 AFF Under-22 Championship|publisher=Football Association of Singapore|date=19 January 2019|access-date=19 January 2019}} Brunei and Laos also withdrew from the tournament.{{cite web|url=http://www.aseanfootball.org/v3/nine-teams-for-aff-u22/|title=Nine teams for AFF U22|publisher=ASEAN Football Federation|date=22 January 2019|access-date=25 January 2019}}{{cite web|url=http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-01/28/c_137781840.htm|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190128180441/http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-01/28/c_137781840.htm|url-status=dead|archive-date=28 January 2019|title=Singapore, Brunei, Laos withdraw from 2019 AFF U22 championship|publisher=Xinhua News Agency|date=28 January 2019|access-date=30 January 2019}}
