The 2022–23 Women's FA Cup was the 53rd staging of the Women's FA Cup, a knockout cup competition for women's football teams in England. Teams

A total of 438 teams were accepted into the 2022–23 Women's FA Cup, an increase of 21 from the previous year.{{cite web |title=Women's FA Cup 2022–23 season details revealed |url=https://www.thefa.com/news/2022/jul/29/vitality-womens-fa-cup-entries-exemptions-round-dates-prize-fund-20222907|website=thefa.com |publisher=The Football Association|date=29 July 2022}} Exemptions remained the same from the previous season: tier 5 teams are given an exemption for the first qualifying round, entering at the second round qualifying stage. The 48 teams that play in the FA Women's National League Division One (tier 4) are given exemption until third round qualifying, while teams in the Northern and Southern Premier Divisions (tier 3) will enter at the first round proper.
