The 2024 Tarqumiyah shootout was a drive-by shooting on 1 September 2024 in which three Israeli police officers were shot dead by a gunman from Hebron close to Tarqumiyah checkpoint. The three Israeli police officers killed in the attack were identified as Roni Shakuri, Arik Ben Eliyahu and Hadas Branch. The shooting was carried out by a lone perpetrator, identified as a resident of Hebron born in Jordan who worked as a security officer for the Palestinian Presidential Guard until 2015.
