The 2025 Sacramento State Hornets football team will represent California State University, Sacramento during the 2025 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Big Sky Conference. The 2025 season should be the last season of the Hornets in the FCS. A realignment to the FBS was announced in 2025. They are expected to be led by first-year head coach Brennan Marion and play their home games at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California.
