Antrim v Armagh dispute

At the draw made in October 2024, Antrim was drawn first against defending All-Ireland champions Armagh, granting them home advantage; however, Ulster GAA stated that Antrim's proposed home ground Corrigan Park, with its capacity of less than 4,000 would be unsuitable to host the match.{{cite news|url=https://www.irishnews.com/gaa/gaelic-football/corrigan-park-not-fit-to-host-armagh-game-says-ulster-gaa-YGDD677DLJCF5HKK6U75VFNT5A/|title=Corrigan Park not fit to host Armagh game says Ulster GAA|work=The Irish News|first=Andy|last=Watters|date=7 February 2025|access-date=15 February 2025}} Instead, Ulster GAA initially fixed the game for Páirc Esler,{{cite news |url=https://www.rte.ie/sport/football/2025/0306/1500671-ulster-gaa-switch-antrim-v-armagh-game-to-down/|title=Antrim come out fighting after Ulster GAA switch venue for Armagh fixture|publisher=RTÉ News|date=6 March 2025|access-date=25 March 2025|quote=Ulster GAA this evening opted to switch the game to Páirc Esler in Newry.}} the home ground of Down GAA, but a stadium located primarily in County Armagh.{{cite news|url=https://www.balls.ie/gaa/down-gaas-stadium-is-located-in-armagh-110970|title=Down County Board Put Their GAA Stadium In The Wrong County|publisher=Balls.ie|first=Faolan|last=Smyth|date=29 January 2014|access-date=25 March 2025}}
