21st Century Breakdown World Tour was a headlining concert tour by American rock band Green Day in support of the group's eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown, which was released in May 2009.
The tour began with an eight-week leg throughout North America, kicking off in Seattle in July 2009 and culminating in Los Angeles in late August. The tour in the U.S had 11 Stadium shows, making it the most Stadiums played in Green Day's entire career until the Hella Mega Tour in 2021. The tour grossed about $64 million.{{Cite web|url=http://www.nme.com/news/green-day/44326|title=Green Day announce venues for North American summer tour|last=Bychawski|first=Adam|date=2009-04-28|website=NME.COM|language=en-GB|access-date=2016-04-16}} A European leg followed, beginning in Lisbon in late September and wrapping up mid-November in Turin, Italy.{{Cite web|url=http://hangout.altsounds.com/news/110768-green-day-snag-prima-donna-for-uk-european-tour.html|title=Green Day Snag Prima Donna For UK / European Tour|date=2009-09-11|website=altsounds.com|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20090925051822/http://hangout.altsounds.com/news/110768-green-day-snag-prima-donna-for-uk-european-tour.html|archive-date=2009-09-25}}
