Premise

The series consists of personal short films, in which a single speaker reflects on religious and ethical issues, and aspects of spiritual lives. The shorts challenge traditional views, and provide a platform for both scepticism and devout religious beliefs.{{cite news |last=Thompson|first=Damian|url=https://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/7866532/4thought.tv-a-religious-TV-series-that-should-replace-Thought-for-the-Day.html|title=4thought.tv: a religious TV series that should replace Thought for the Day|newspaper=The Daily Telegraph|date=2 July 2010|access-date=1 December 2013}}
