The Voice TV was the name of a Danish television station that broadcast music videos 24 hours a day. 7'eren was launched on January 1, 2012, as a programming block on The Voice TV, and a year later, on January 1, 2013, the channel renamed The Voice TV into 7'eren, by rebranding itself as a channel for youth programming.{{cite web|title=Ny ungdomskanal: 7'eren|url=http://www.canaldigital.dk/Tv-kanaler/Nyt-fra-kanalerne/7eren/|publisher=Canal Digital|access-date=25 February 2013|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130205025030/http://www.canaldigital.dk/Tv-kanaler/Nyt-fra-kanalerne/7eren/|archive-date=5 February 2013|url-status=dead|df=dmy-all}}{{cite web|title=Ny tv-kanal 7'eren|url=http://www.dlgtele.dk/privat/kundeservice/driftsinformationer-og-nyheder/ny-tv-kanal-7eren/|publisher=DLG Tele|access-date=25 February 2013|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130720023444/http://www.dlgtele.dk/privat/kundeservice/driftsinformationer-og-nyheder/ny-tv-kanal-7eren|archive-date=20 July 2013|url-status=dead|df=dmy-all}}

The same happened to Finland's The Voice, it changed named Kutonen on 1 September 2012. The Voice channels are in different countries.

Due to poor ratings, the station was closed by the end of October 2014 and replaced with a Danish version of Investigation Discovery. The replacement was due to the success of criminal TV series and factual content, such as the CSI franchise.[https://digitalt.tv/7eren-opgives-erstattes-af-id-investigation-discovery/ 7’eren opgives erstattes af ID – Investigation Discovery, Digitalt.TV, 27 June 2014]
