He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft and has also played in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams, with whom he won Super Bowl LVI.

Early life
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Robinson attended Arlington Heights High School. Robinson led Alabama in sacks and was seventh on the team in tackles.
