Aavishkar Madhav Salvi ({{audio|Avishkar_Salvi.ogg|pronunciation}}; born 20 October 1981) is a former Indian cricketer. He played a right-arm medium-pace bowler and right-handed batsman. In first-class cricket, he played for Mumbai. His last match for Mumbai was in 2013.{{Cite web|title=Aavishkar Salvi profile and biography, stats, records, averages, photos and videos|url=https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/aavishkar-salvi-34264|access-date=2021-10-21|publisher=ESPNcricinfo|language=en}} He also played for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL.

With a bowling style similar to Glenn McGrath's, employment of similar line and length and top-notch seam-bowling brought Salvi up from relative obscurity, as backup seamer for his club, to the national team in less than a year, and several Ranji Trophy appearances for his club.

Salvi is currently the fast bowling coach for Oman (on an assignment basis).{{Cite web|title=Men's|url=http://www.omancricket.org/national-teams/mens/|access-date=2021-10-21|website=Oman Cricket|language=en-US}} He started his coaching career as the head coach of Puducherry in 2018 post his retirement.{{Cite web|date=19 April 2020|first=Gaurav|last=Gupta|title=Coach Aavishkar Salvi relishes Oman challenge|url=https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/coach-aavishkar-salvi-relishes-oman-challenge/articleshow/75228847.cms|access-date=2021-10-21|website=The Times of India|language=en}} He was reappointed as the head coach for Puducherry cricket team in 2020 owing to the team's good performance under him in his first stint.{{Cite web|date=4 July 2020|title=Aavishkar Salvi named head coach of Puducherry cricket team|url=https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/aavishkar-salvi-named-head-coach-of-puducherry-cricket-team/articleshow/76786678.cms|access-date=2021-10-21|website=The Times of India|language=en}}{{Cite web|last=Acharya|first=Shayan|title=Aavishkar Salvi joins Pondicherry as head coach|url=https://sportstar.thehindu.com/cricket/aavishkar-salvi-joins-pondicherry-as-head-coach/article31988744.ece|access-date=2021-10-21|website=Sportstar|date=4 July 2020 |language=en}}
