Abaradira was a city in the Roman province of Byzacena.A. Notit. Byz. After the fall of the Roman Empire, Abaradira was the seat of a Christian bishopric.Stefano Antonio Morcelli, Africa Christiana, Volume I, (Brescia, 1816), p58-59. Abaradira survives as titular bishopric in the Roman Catholic Church.
