Abary River

The Abary River (Abary Creek){{cite book|title=Decision List|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=pzT0AAAAMAAJ&pg=PA3|year=1953|publisher=US Board on Geographical Names|page=3|quote= [Unofficial names] not adopted: Abari River, Abary Creek, River Abari, River Abary, River Abury.}} is a small river in northern Guyana that drains into the Atlantic Ocean.

In 1672, under an arrangement between the Commander of Essequibo and the Secretary of the Government of Berbice, it was agreed that the Abary River would be the western boundary of the Colony of Berbice.
