Abua–Odual (also spelled as Abua/Odual) is a Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria. {{Citation needed|date=February 2025}}Its headquarters is located in Ayama/Abua Central Abua. The people of Abua are of Ijaw ancestry, making the LGA one of the 11 LGAs in Rivers State with Ijaw ancestry.

Late Chief John Mark Miwori was a Justice of Peace in Emesu in 2007.
