Acanthobrama telavivensis, commonly known as the Yarkon bream or Yarkon bleak, is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish of the family Leuciscidae found only in Israel, in the Yarkon River system.
Description

History
Throughout 1950 to 1970, there was a very sharp decline in the species population. The population was stable until a drought in 1999 which made it near-extinct.IUCN 2010. IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Version 2010.1.
