Accelerator-in-Chief ({{lang-zh|s=总加速师|t=總加速師|p=zǒng jiāsù shī}}) is a nickname or jargon used by opponents of General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping, whose internal and foreign policies accelerate/expedite the process of either "bringing China to a strong rivalry with the superpowers", or "the collapse of the CCP". This term is patterned after Architect-in-Chief ({{lang-zh|总设计师}}), a commonly-used title for Deng Xiaoping, the Chinese leader who initiated the Reform and Opening of the PRC.{{cite web |title=ACCELERATOR-IN-CHIEF |url=https://chinadigitaltimes.net/space/Accelerator-in-Chief?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=8241b1a0dd682ddc9d7109de90a1fcba10edc1a7-1603258818-0-AQCjjPKnl59wBNE-JiihtREfVZBIVaQhS1QO86dXjt-f6RUF9JNX1jS7enLi0YJNkGWp-cYdJ3idl8-sx4UBt_N6pRBqxzvt4yc-ub9dH2kxesgv1MRhhPXWHYOfwn5k2_cbtORRI1P82WPYxlerbbyeHjMatQzHpuHDUe4VBSgpQwpADzPEgylk1-QXcRme2vnkdlV0Yf-EJ6OO1c2jzETBYrRAXvnhXtKoLgWI8yaMQx177DM8hasf8JapA65xpNtna14tPXiuBS4N0kyq_UMtEEn93FPED88v7sjoP3U02BuCW8CYijZ7bi4mLUxvgA |website=China Digital Times |accessdate=21 October 2020}}{{cite news|author=呂月|title=「總加速師」庚子年的瘋狂|url=https://hk.appledaily.com/local/20200610/IJQATWRI5KJB7F244ZARWJ364Q/|publisher=蘋果日報|location=香港|date=2020-06-10|access-date=2020-10-21|archive-date=2020-10-24|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201024051228/https://hk.appledaily.com/local/20200610/IJQATWRI5KJB7F244ZARWJ364Q/|url-status=dead}}{{cite news|title=習近平為什麼被稱為「總加速師」?|url=https://www.worldjournal.com/7058563/article-%E7%BF%92%E8%BF%91%E5%B9%B3%E7%82%BA%E4%BB%80%E9%BA%BC%E8%A2%AB%E7%A8%B1%E7%82%BA%E3%80%8C%E7%B8%BD%E5%8A%A0%E9%80%9F%E5%B8%AB%E3%80%8D%EF%BC%9F/|publisher=世界日報|date=2020-07-22|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200919012931/https://www.worldjournal.com/7058563/article-%E7%BF%92%E8%BF%91%E5%B9%B3%E7%82%BA%E4%BB%80%E9%BA%BC%E8%A2%AB%E7%A8%B1%E7%82%BA%E3%80%8C%E7%B8%BD%E5%8A%A0%E9%80%9F%E5%B8%AB%E3%80%8D%EF%BC%9F/|archive-date=2020-09-19|url-status=dead|accessdate=2020-08-29}}
