In February 2006, ActiveState Software Inc. announced its acquisition by Pender Financial Group Corporation from Sophos Inc., a subsidiary of Sophos Plc., for the purchase price of 2,250,000 USD. In February 2012, ActiveState announced the general availability of Stackato.
