Consumers could click on the k button to keep the ads, and then return to the cloud-based Adkeeper at a future time, to review the ads they had kept.{{cite web |accessdate=January 14, 2010 |url=https://blogs.forbes.com/elainewong/2010/12/16/start-up-places-bets-on-ad-keeping/?partner=yahootix |title=Is "Ad Keeping" The Next Frontier? |work=Forbes |date=December 16, 2010 |author=Elaine Wong }} The users could also share ads with others, via email or social networks.
Features
AdKeeper provided users with a personal "Keeper", where they could come to view ads they've collected from various places on the Internet, or the Ad Gallery display area in AdKeeper.{{cite web |accessdate=November 25, 2010 |url=http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2010/10/adkeepers-lets-you-rip-out-ads-the-modern-way.html |title=AdKeeper Lets You Rip Out Ads the Modern Way |publisher=Marketing Pilgrim |date=October 11, 2010 |author=Cynthia Boris | archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20101120200804/http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2010/10/adkeepers-lets-you-rip-out-ads-the-modern-way.html| archivedate= 20 November 2010 | url-status= live}}{{cite web |accessdate=December 18, 2010 |url=http://www.708media.com/online-advertising/new-startup-adkeeper-save-ads-for-later |title=New Startup Adkeeper Launches Allowing You To Save Ads For Later |publisher=708 Media |date=October 11, 2010 |author=Chris Edwards }} Ads that are kept display the date they were kept, when they expire, a short description, and also allow for users to rate them, when they are logged in. Common social sharing tools, such as Email, Twitter, and Facebook are available, and in the aforementioned gallery, users can keep more ads from participating advertisers.
