Crabb was born in Barmera, South Australia, and played at the Southern Districts Baseball Club in Adelaide.

He was a member of the Tel Aviv Lightning[http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/sports/baseball-ibl-lightning-edge-miracle-with-homers-1.226947 Lightning edge Miracle with homers] and was selected in the Israel Baseball League's 2007 North All Star Team.{{Citation needed|date=May 2010}}

In 2012 he played for the Adelaide Bite of the Australian Baseball League.
