Ahmed Busnaina

Ahmed A. Busnaina is an American nanotechnologist who is the William Lincoln Smith Chair and University Distinguished Professor, and Director of National Science Foundation’s Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center (NSEC) for High-rate Nanomanufacturing{{cite web| url = http://www.northeastern.edu/chn/team/| url-status = dead| archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20090829102036/http://www.northeastern.edu/chn/team| archive-date = 2009-08-29| title = Team}} and of the NSF Center for Microcontamination Control{{cite web|url = https://research.northeastern.edu/center-for-microcontamination-control-cmc/|title = NSF CMC}} at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Busnaina is recognized for his work on nano and micro scale defects mitigation and removal in semiconductor fabrication. He specializes in directed assembly of nanoelements and in the nanomanufacturing of micro and nanoscale devices.
