History
Aju group started as Aju industries(아주산업) in 1960 as a construction which mainly did business on construction materials.{{cite web | url=https://www.news1.kr/articles/?4169496 | title=[신년사]문규영 아주그룹 회장 "디지털 트랜스포메이션으로 혁신" | date=4 January 2021 }} In the 1960s, Aju helped replace wooden utility poles to concrete ones as part of the government's the "rural distribution of electricity" project.{{cite web | url=https://www.news1.kr/articles/?2872596 | title=고 문태식 아주그룹 명예회장, 국민훈장 동백장 추서 | date=30 December 2016 }} Starting from the 1970s they begin to sell hume pipes. In the 1980s, the company opened Ready-mix concrete factories in Mangu-dong.
