Alan Halsall (born 17 November 1940) was an association football goalkeeper who played in The Football League for Blackpool and Oldham Athletic.{{cite web |title=Alan Halsall |url=http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/player10/alanhalsall.html |website=Post War English & Scottish Football League A - Z Player's Transfer Database |access-date=3 June 2025}} He moved to Wigan Athletic in 1964, making 150 appearances for the club in the Cheshire League.{{cite book|last=Hayes|first=Dean|title=The Latics: The Official History of Wigan Athletic F.C.|year=1996|page=117|publisher=Yore Publications|location=Harefield|isbn=1-874427-91-7}} He made a further three appearances in the inaugural Northern Premier League season before leaving the club in 1969.
