Alepidomus evermanni is a freshwater species of silverside endemic to western Cuba. This species grows to {{convert|3.3|cm|in|abbr=on}} in standard length.{{Fishbase|Alepidomus|evermanni|month=February|year=2019}} It is the only known member of its genus.{{FishBase genus|genus=Alepidomus|month=February|year=2019}} This species was described as Atherina evermanni by Carl H.
