Career
Jensen was a youth player in FC Midtjylland until the U15 team, then Vejle BK, where he also made his senior debut, but did not get a senior contract. He was allowed to move on to FC Fredericia. He came to Fredericia as a midfielder, a "number 8", but was given the chance as a fullback when another player Mikkel Knudsen was injured.{{cite news|url=https://frdb.dk/fc-fredericia/fc-fredericia-henter-midtbanetalent-i-vb|title=FC Fredericia henter midtbanetalent|last=Banke|first=Jesper|date=17 September 2020|work=Fredericia Dagblad|language=da|access-date=6 March 2024}}{{cite news|url=https://fredericiaavisen.dk/vinteropstart-fik-saerlig-betydning-for-alexander-jensen/|title=Vinteropstart fik særlig betydning for Alexander Jensen|last=Andersen|first=Patrick Viborg|date=5 February 2023|work=Fredericia Avisen|language=da|access-date=6 March 2024}}
