Aline Marie Raynal (4 February 1937 – 16 July 2022) was a French botanist and botanical illustrator noted for studying the taxonomy of parasitic and aquatic tropical plants, as well as plants of the Sahel desert in Africa.{{cite web |title=DSI – Database of Scientific Illustrators |url=http://www.uni-stuttgart.de/hi/gnt/dsi2/index.php?table_name=dsi&function=details&where_field=id&where_value=12816 |website=www.uni-stuttgart.de |accessdate=4 January 2019}} She was professor of botany at the Muséum National d´Histoire Naturelle de Paris. In 1995, her work was honored by the Institut de France.
