All In with Chris Hayes is an American news television program that airs Tuesdays through Fridays at 8:00 p.m. ET on MSNBC. It is hosted by Chris Hayes, who previously hosted Up with Chris Hayes on MSNBC weekends. The show premiered on April 1, 2013.
Similar to Up, the show's format consists of "long-form panel discussions in which the participants talk through several issues." The opening night had 859,000 total viewers, including 298,000 in the ages 25–54 demographic.
All In won its first Emmy Award in 2015 at the 36th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards in the Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis category.{{cite web|url=https://deadline.com/2015/09/chris-hayes-wins-emmy-news-documentary-msnbc-1201558098/|title=Chris Hayes Wins MSNBC's Only News & Documentary Emmy|first=Lisa |last=de Moraes|date=29 September 2015|publisher=Deadline}}
On August 23, 2019, All In began experimenting with a series of Friday-night editions presented in front of a live studio audience in Studio 6-A.{{Cite web|url=https://www.broadcastingcable.com/news/all-in-with-chris-hayes-invites-audience-for-summer-fridays|title='All In with Chris Hayes' Invites Audience For Summer Fridays|last=Malone|first=Michael|website=Broadcasting & Cable|date=20 August 2019|language=en-us|access-date=2019-09-06}}
As of 2023, the program has largely featured guest hosts on Monday nights in order to accommodate Hayes' other projects. On September 7, 2023, MSNBC announced that it would add an additional Monday-night edition of its Sunday program Inside with Jen Psaki as a substitute for All In beginning September 25.{{cite news |last=Johnson |first=Ted |url=https://deadline.com/2023/09/inside-with-jen-psaki-mondays-msnbc-1235539498/|title='Inside With Jen Psaki' Expanding To Mondays On MSNBC |work=Deadline Hollywood |date=2023-09-07 |accessdate=2023-09-07 }}
Since 2024, the program also airs a recap on Sunday as part of Prime Weekend, which also recaps from The Rachel Maddow Show, Deadline: White House, The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, Alex Wagner Tonight, The ReidOut and The Briefing with Jen Psaki.
