History
Glover was born in South Australia the eldest son of John Sydney Glover (1875 – 30 August 1919) and his wife Lucy Emily Glover née Smith{{cite news |url=http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article35098447 |title=Family Notices |newspaper=The Advertiser (Adelaide) |location=South Australia |date=30 November 1897 |access-date=24 November 2023 |page=4 |via=National Library of Australia}} of Duke Street, Kensington.

In 1925 he was admitted to the South Australian Society of Arts as an associate member, and exhibited with the Society the following year.
