Biography
Sears was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Harry Sears and Alice Gould.{{Citation needed |date=November 2023}}
He started acting on camera around 1914, after getting his start on the stage in theater and as an opera singer.{{Cite web |date=30 Jan 1921 |title=In the Movies at the Hill |url=http://www.newspapers.com/image/609571405/?terms=%22allan+sears%22 |access-date=2019-12-14 |website=Petaluma Daily Morning Courier |language=en}} In Hollywood, appeared in a number of D. W. Griffith's films alongside actress Mary Miles Minter.
