The Almaty Open (formerly the Astana Open) is an October professional tennis tournament, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The tournament is held on indoor hard courts.

It was primarily organized due to the cancellation of many tournaments during the 2020 season as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.{{cite web|url=https://www.atptour.com/en/news/atp-announces-four-new-events-for-2020|title=ATP Announces Four New Events For 2020|website=www.atptour.com}} In 2021, the tournament was carried out as a combined event, with a women's tournament being played the week after the men's (as part of the WTA Tour).[https://www.wtatennis.com/news/2232548/wta-adds-tournaments-in-nur-sultan-cluj-napoca-and-columbus-to-2021-calendar WTA adds tournaments in Nur-Sultan, Cluj-Napoca and Columbus to 2021 calendar] It was the first time in history that an ATP and a WTA tournament had been held in Kazakhstan. The WTA event would be discontinued the following year.
