Alojz Ihan (born 23 July 1961) is a doctor, specialist in medical microbiology and immunology from Slovenia. Beside his medical profession he is also a poet, writer, essayist and editor.[http://www.imi.si/ihan/ihan University of Ljubljana Medical Faculty, Institute for Microbiology and Immunology]
Ihan was born in Ljubljana in 1961 and studied at the Medical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana. He works at the University's Institute for Microbiology and Immunology.
