Personal life and education

Film career

Her background is in photography, illustration, and media. The themes of reclamation of Indigenous histories, lineages, languages and cultures often appear in her works.

Awards and grants
Strong has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and the National Film Board of Canada.
