The club reached the fourth round of the Welsh Cup in 1991 and made it to the quarter-finals in February 1999.{{cite news|title=Football: Rain's strike sinks Barry; Welsh Cup Round-up |url=http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Football%3A+Rain%27s+strike+sinks+Barry%3B+WELSH+CUP+ROUND-UP.-a060174398 |work=Sunday Mirror |place=London |date=14 February 1999 |accessdate=2014-11-18 }}
