Amolatar is a town in Northern Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative and commercial centre of Amolatar District. Location

Population

The 2002 national census estimated the town's population at about 11,420. In 2010, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), estimated the population of the town at 14,300. In 2015, UBOS estimated the population of the town at 11,400. In 2020, the population agency estimated the population of Amolatar Town Council at 12,900 inhabitants; of whom 6,400 (49.6 percent) were females and 6,500 (50.4 percent) were males.
