Amy Suzanne Thompson (born 1979){{cite linked authority file |id=no2020124443 |text= |accessdate=December 11, 2023}} is an American linguist who is Woodburn Professor of Applied Linguistics at West Virginia University.
Education
Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Texas Christian University in 2001, and a master's degree in Teaching English to speakers of other languages in 2005 and a PhD in Second language studies from Michigan State University in 2009.{{cite web |title=Amy S. Career
