Anaspides is a genus of freshwater crustaceans in the family Anaspidesidae.{{Cite web |title=WoRMS - World Register of Marine Species - Anaspides Thomson, 1894 |url=https://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=1363492 |access-date=2023-03-31 |website=www.marinespecies.org}} The genus was first described in 1894 by George Malcolm Thomson.{{cite Q|Q56155463}} The genus was originally placed in the family, Anaspididae by Thomson,Thomson, G.M. 1893. Notes on Tasmanian Crustacea, with descriptions of new species.
