Andrei Iancu (born April 2, 1968) is a Romanian-American engineer and intellectual property attorney, who served as the under secretary of commerce for intellectual property and director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) from 2017 to 2021. Following law school, Iancu joined Irell & Manella as an associate in 1999 and was later promoted to partnership.
