Andrew Qappik {{Post-nominals|country=CAN|CM}} (born February 25, 1964, in Nunataq, Northwest Territories, now Nunavut) is a Canadian Inuk graphic artist currently residing in Pangnirtung, Nunavut. Qappik is known for his printmaking and his contribution to the Nunavut coat of arms.{{Cite web|title=Past {{!}} Winnipeg Art Gallery|url=http://www.olympus.wag.ca/art/exhibitions/past-exhibitions/display,exhibition/65/andrew-qappik-pangnirtung-memories|access-date=2021-01-05|website=www.olympus.wag.ca|archive-date=2021-01-08|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210108093336/http://www.olympus.wag.ca/art/exhibitions/past-exhibitions/display,exhibition/65/andrew-qappik-pangnirtung-memories|url-status=dead}} His uncles Solomon and Imoona Karpik were also artists, and encouraged him to start drawing.

Qappik's prints depicts both animals and traditional Inuit culture, which he has learned about from his own experience and stories by his grandfathers and other relatives. Some of these relatives have been an influence on Qappik's artistic sensibilities. He has a fondness for realistic/naturalistic scenes of Arctic life; an instinctive grasp of line, form and composition, and a use of lighter coloured tones with little negative space.Thomson, Jane Sproull and Luke Ratzlaff "Andrew Qappik's Contemporary Arctic Visions", Inuit Art Quarterly 20 (2005): 10-16.

Qappik's works are published by the Pangnirtung Print Shop, under the auspices of the Uqqurmiut Centre for Arts & Crafts. His work has been exhibited at many museums, including the British Museum,{{Cite web|title=print {{!}} British Museum|url=https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/E_2016-2015-1|access-date=2021-01-05|website=The British Museum|language=en}}{{Cite web|title=print {{!}} British Museum|url=https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/E_2016-2016-1|access-date=2021-01-05|website=The British Museum|language=en}}{{Cite web|last=Dex|first=Robert|date=2020-01-09|title=British Museum's new Arctic exhibition to show life in a cold climate|url=https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/british-museum-arctic-exhibition-a4330311.html|access-date=2021-01-05|website=www.standard.co.uk|language=en}}{{Cite web|title="Arctic: Culture and Climate" at the British Museum|url=https://airmail.news/issues/2020-10-31/polar-express|access-date=2021-01-05|website=airmail.news|language=en}}{{Cite web|title=How Culture and Climate Intersect: The British Museum’s Latest Exhibition|url=https://www.inuitartfoundation.org/lite/iaq-online/how-culture-and-climate-intersect|access-date=2021-01-05|website=Inuit Art Foundation|language=en}} the National Gallery of Canada,{{Cite web|title=Andrew Qappik|url=https://www.gallery.ca/collection/artist/andrew-qappik|access-date=2021-01-05|website=www.gallery.ca|language=en}} the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Canadian Museum of History,{{Cite web|title=Search the Collections {{!}} Canadian Museum of History|url=https://www.historymuseum.ca/collections/artifact/2267578/|access-date=2021-01-05|language=en-US}} and the Dennos Museum Center.{{Cite web|title=Prints of Andrew Qappik :: The Dennos Museum Center|url=https://www.dennosmuseum.org/art/exhibit-archive/2012/andrew-qappik.html|access-date=2021-01-05|website=www.dennosmuseum.org}}{{Cite web|title=Cape Dorset Print Collection exhibit begins October 19 {{!}} NMC Communiqué|url=https://blogs.nmc.edu/?p=3053|access-date=2021-01-05|website=blogs.nmc.edu}}
